Secretary of State, Linda McCulloch has named Shelle Lindholm the next “Treasured” Montana Artist.
She was chosen for exceptional talent in creating art with strong ties to the Treasure State.  Her
work will be on dispaly the next 4 months in the front lobby of the Secretary of State’s office in the historical
State Capitol Building in Helena, Montana.
A reception is planned for May 14, 2013, 10:00 am.

ACRYLICS UNPLUGGED!

2 DAY WORKSHOP
HOCKADAY MUSEUM OF ART
KALISPELL, MONTANA
NOVEMBER 3 and 10, 12:00 – 4:00 PM

Shelle will share tricks and techniques she uses in her
layered paintnig process.  She’ll provide simple excercises
that promote discovery of non-traditional forms and
offer tips on finding your style.  Session1 will focus on
experimentation and creative play.  Session 2 partici-
pants will put their play into action with the goal of
completeing an 8 x 10 painting.

 


 


Shelle Lindholm paints animals with attitude. Her primitive painting style has developed through years of exploration of the versatile medium of acrylics and is strongly influenced by folk art from around the world.
